So the provincial election has finally been called for Nov. 7/07. Already there is a lot of negativity out there and partisan BS.
I was reading some comments on a blog about people saying that the Sask Party's or the NDP's drug plan 'didn't do anything' for them. "How does this help me?" a lot of people asked. I'd like to tell them all to quit being so GD selfish. The government isn't about doing things for each individual in the province. A party doesn't need to address each one of your concerns for them to be a viable option. There are a million people in this province and sometimes those other people need help too. Our government is supposed to be about creating the right conditions for success for the province, not every Tom, Dick or Harry in opposite corners of the province.
To use an old saying "Ask not what your government can do for you..." and I leave off the rest because in today's society no one wants to do anything for the government. Moral of the story, suck it up, quit whining that there isn't anything for YOU in a particular platform plank and see how it will affect the province overall.
