Elections should be about ideas

Where are all the great ideas? We need to figure out what this province needs for success. The NDP is too caught up in ideology to see anything and the SP is trying desperately to avoid being labeled scary by the fear mongering left. Its stifling the creative energy that should be going on right now.

So far I do give the SP credit for the longest term thinking out of the parties. The tuition rebate program shows some sensibility in retaining people in this province instead of giving people a cheap education so they can piss off to the Alberta boom or beautiful BC. Although the SP's plan may not immediately benefit students I think that it shows that they are trying to actually build this province. So, good idea Mr. Wall.

I'd like to see some new ideas on solving the health care 'crisis' without the ubiquitous cries of 'two tier' coming from the left.

I'd like to see some ways the parties plan on reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

I'd like to hear all parties opinions on progressive issues, such as gay equality, smoking bans (which need to be stronger, IMO), rural development and culture.

Anyone else have ideas?
